To our Black artists and community, 

We see you. We hear you. And we pledge to do everything we can to fight against racism and injustice.

As a part of that pledge, we will ensure the inclusion of Black and other underrepresented artists in every collection we publish and promote. 

We are assembling an artist advisory council on diversity and inclusion to help us better use our platform to elevate the creative practice of Black artists and other underrepresented and marginalized artists.

We are doubling down on our commitment to being an inclusive, diverse and antiracist workplace and are actively educating ourselves on more ways in which we can create safe spaces for all of our employees to thrive. 

Society6 is only possible because of our open community of independent artists, including many Black artists whose artwork has the power to change, to offer new perspectives and to say things that words alone cannot express. We have deep love and respect for this community and will continue to be a platform that stands for inclusivity and gives voice to those who have been historically silenced in the world of art and beyond.

This week we will be using our social platforms to exclusively amplify the artwork and voices of the Black community—including a curated collection of Black artists for you to follow and explore. This is just the beginning of our commitment and we will share more soon, but, for now, we end with a message that must be made clear.
