                        This trove of emails and text messages reveals the

                         Trump Administration's ongoing efforts to hand over our public lands to mining corporations and Big Oil CEOs, cancel clean energy projects, and raise costs for families.
                        </b>
                        These developments are shocking -- but sadly, unsurprising when you see what's been happening inside the Department of the Interior:

                         Meetings with members of Elon Musk's DOGE agency, or the “Department of Government Efficiency” that preceded mass firings, funding freezes, and suspended contracts at the Department of the Interior.
                        </li>

                         Lawmakers repeatedly raising the alarm about chaos at the agency, including interference with disaster funding and projects to protect drinking water.
                        </li>

                        <li style="line-height 150%;">
                         Numerous meeting requests from oil, gas, mining, and other industry interests with Secretary of the Interior Doug Burgum.
                        </li>

                        This is only a small fraction of the government records we're seeking, but what they already show is deeply concerning. Funding freezes, the mass firings of dedicated public servants, and blatant catering to polluting corporations are putting public lands and public health at risk.
