Without it, anything goes for Big Oil and Gas. Utilities can use more dirty sources of energy that drive up costs for American families. Deadly air pollution will increase. Water will become more contaminated.

The decision permanently bars the administration from freezing funds, canceling states' buildout plans, or otherwise interfering with this $5 billion program to build reliable, high-speed EV charging along America's highways. All 50 states, plus D.C. and Puerto Rico, now have the certainty they need to move forward with a nationwide charging network.
