     Jealousy is usually considered a bad thing, but it's actually another clue. Think about who you've been envious of and why. Are they running their own business? Do you admire their freedom and flexibility? Do they have a skill you wish you had?

     How can you bring yourself one step closer to the life or career you envy?

    </h2>

     We make a lot of assumptions about ourselves: We say we could never do freelance because we need a steady income. We say we're not creative enough to be an artist. Or that we can't be a writer because we have nothing to say.

     The people who succeed go after what they want anyway.
    </p>

     You don't have to dive straight in – start small. (For example: If you want to go freelance, could you take on one project alongside your full-time job, to start?) You might fail, or you might be wildly wrong about your own abilities.
