                        But with Donald Trump back in the White House and Big Oil eagerly eyeing the potential profit, the Arctic is once again squarely in the crosshairs of industry. In fact,

                         they've just opened another two million acres of public land in Alaska to drilling and mining.

                        We've seen this playbook before: open protected lands to drilling, fast-track leases, and prioritize extraction over wildlife, Indigenous communities, and the future of our climate. If they get their way, roads and oil rigs will replace the caribou on the horizon. Denning grounds for polar bears will be disrupted. The Porcupine Caribou Herd's calving grounds will be a place of industry instead of life.

                         Once the destruction begins, the damage cannot simply be reversed.
