                 Hope you are all doing well and sketching a lot!  Something a little different.  It became increasingly obvious to me after giving feedback to many of the projects being posted in the first couple of Beginner Figure Drawing classes that Lesson 1 didn't really go into enough detail for creating basic shapes and forms. A lot of the projects posted are getting the general ideas right in their sketches, but it's become clear Lesson 1 didn't have enough information for new art students how to go about constructing the basic box, ball and cylinder forms.  So, my hope is instead of giving the same type of feedback and recommendations over and over again to students that this class will fill in some of the missing gaps the Gesture and Construction class had and help those who are new to drawing with a more solid foundation to work with. So, whilst this isn't directly related to the Figure Drawing series it does expand upon the basic shape, form, and perspective concepts discussed to a greater degree.  So I introduce
