       I want to personally thank you for joining our team. I also want to share with you our ongoing, relentless plan to defend the civil rights and liberties of all people – with the help of millions of generous supporters like you.

       Right now, our movement is fully engaging the mechanisms of our democracy, no matter how hard the powers-that-be try to dismantle them. We're organizing in our communities, we're suing in courts, we're placing enormous pressure on Congress and this administration, and we're building an electorate that will hold anyone running for office accountable to us –
       <em>
        the people.
       </em>
      </p>
      <p>
       <strong>
        Because of supporters like you, the ACLU is better positioned than ever to block any threats to our rights. And that especially includes our most fundamental right to vote.
       </strong>
      </p>
      <p>
       Politicians across the country are shamelessly attempting to block people's access to the ballot so they can push forward their own agenda at the polls. Through racially motivated gerrymandering, blatant voter suppression, and much more these anti-democratic tactics are impacting people of color, people with disabilities, and low-income communities the most. But that's why we're fighting back in the courts, at state legislatures, and on Capitol Hill to protect your rights everywhere – and to make voting accessible for
       <em>
        all
       </em>
       of us.
      </p>
      <p>
       Together, on voting rights and all of our civil liberties, we will continue to challenge unconstitutional policies. We will keep advocating and delivering hundreds of thousands of calls and messages to Congress. And if our elected officials still have the gall to ignore the will of the people, we can and will make our elections a referendum on where the country is headed.
      </p>
