                     September's SaaS benchmarks have arrived, showing modest acceleration overall with distinct winners and laggards when analyzed by ARR and ARPA segments.

                      Mid-market ARR growth accelerates as enterprise segment slows

                     Companies in the $8M-$15M ARR range saw median growth improve from 20.7% to 22.9%, marking the sharpest step up of any cohort. Smaller companies in the $300k-$1M (+1.6pp) and $3M-$8M (+0.7pp) ranges also gained ground. By contrast, $15M-$30M dipped from 26.5% to 25.8%.

                     Growth shifted towards lower ARPAs in September. $25-$100 ARPA companies stood out clearly, surging from 17.9% to 20.6%. Both the &lt;$25 and &gt;$1,000 bands also achieved modest gains. Meanwhile, the middle segments struggled: $100-$250, $250-$500, and $500-$1,000 ARPA cohorts all experienced declines, with drops ranging from -3pp to -5pp. This pattern suggests stronger momentum in businesses with lower contract values and weakening demand in the mid-range.

                     At the headline level, NRR increased slightly from 63.7% to 64.2%, with modest GRR improvements. Customer retention remained essentially flat. A closer look at the segments shows a more nuanced picture:
