   I’m Kathy from the Supporter Experience team at charity: water. As we move through December, I’ve been thinking about what it means to show up for each other and our communities.
   <br/>
   <br/>
   This month, we’ve shared the story of the conflict our local partners and communities faced in Tigray, Ethiopia from 2020 to 2022. Roads were blocked, supplies were scarce, and entire communities lost access to water.
   <br/>
   <br/>
   When it became impossible to build new water projects, charity: water and our partners redirected active programming toward restoring water access for the communities who needed it most. Even in uncertainty — and at personal risk — our partners stepped up to keep clean water flowing.
   <br/>
   <br/>

    What made this response possible was the steady support of The Spring — a dedicated community of recurring donors who provide critical reliability when it matters most.
   </b>
   <br/>
   <br/>
