                            The 9,000 acre mega-industrial complex called LEAP located in Lebanon, IN is looking to siphon millions of gallons of water from the reservoirs that provide drinking water to the Indianapolis area and surrounding counties, including from Eagle Creek Park’s Reservoir.
                            <br/>
                            <br/>
                            The proposed META AI Data Center alone will reportedly use 3 million gallons of water daily. According to the Eagle Creek Park Foundation, in October 2025 neighbors near Eagle Creek Park began receiving letters from Citizens Energy regarding the rights to their easements and plans for Citizens to construct a water pipeline up to LEAP. Per the neighbors this pipeline construction would begin breaking ground in early 2026. Acres of forested area would be lost near Eagle Creek if this pipeline moves forward.

                            We demand transparency regarding the full scope of this project and the impacts on our water supply and Eagle Creek Park and reservoir. With increasingly dry summers, growing communities in central Indiana and new water hungry data center's proposed daily - we demand immediate transparency and protection for our communities water.
