First, my

jeans. So, I love a little slouch in my trousers. My current rotation includes my Phoebe Philo pants, my carpenter pants by the Row, and a couple of pairs of old Supreme jeans. I still love them all, but on some days, I do crave something between tight and oversized, something closer to a pair of straight jeans—not too skinny, just straight. Well, I found them at Alaïa, and they are part of the house’s recently launched core denim collection. If you don’t like a high waist, then these are not for you, but I don’t find them to have too high of a waist. They are also not too skinny; they are just perfectly straight and in the best Japanese denim I have had the pleasure of wearing. Also, I’m 5'5 and I didn’t have to hem them because the length is perfect. Where haven’t I worn these already? And, I plan to (maybe) never wash them so they can just get better and better in the only way that really good denim does. Trust me on these, they get the Nasr denim two thumbs up, which is extremely rare.
