                        Power-hungry data centers are causing a massive surge in electricity demand -- the biggest data centers will each consume more electricity than some large cities. Instead of speeding up the transition to clean energy, utilities and tech companies are:
                       </p>
                       <ul>
                        <li>
                         Racing to build more gas-burning power plants
                        </li>
                        <li>
                         Delaying coal plant retirements
                        </li>
                        <li>
                         Building thousands of on-site diesel generators
                        </li>
                       </ul>
                       This shift threatens to lock in decades of pollution while families are left paying the price. And electricity isn't the only resource at risk.

                       <br/>
                       Data centers require enormous amounts of water to stay cool. A single large data center can use up to
                       <b>
                        5 million gallons of water every day.
                       </b>
                       That's about the same amount of water used by a town of 50,000 people.
                       <br/>
                       <br/>
                       Unchecked development of these massive facilities also consumes land, disrupts wildlife habitat, and strains already stretched natural resources.
