                                 Just now, Donald Trump removed the Environmental Protection Agency's authority to fight climate change.
                                </p>

                                 This will cost lives and it is illegal.
                                </p>

                                  Trump eliminated a rule called the Endangerment Finding, which requires the EPA to regulate climate pollution that hurts people's health and our environment.
                                 </b>
                                </p>
                                <p>
                                 And, earlier this week, his administration decided to make everyday American taxpayers pay for the bail out of unreliable, costly, and polluting coal plants. Trump signed orders requiring the Pentagon to buy expensive coal-generated electricity. He shifted federal funds meant for renewable and cheaper energy to pay for battered coal plants on life support.
                                </p>
                                <p>
                                 This will all make us sicker. It will raise our electric bills. It will further pollute our lands and water. And it sets the stage for fossil fuel companies and other corporate polluters to unleash even more dangerous climate pollution.

                                The Sierra Club played a historic role in securing these protections, bringing the first lawsuits and helping win the Supreme Court case that led to the Endangerment Finding in the first place.

                                  We refuse to let this dangerous decision go. We are going back to court, organizing in our communities, and using every tool in the toolbox to stop these attacks -- because our health, our clean air and water, our climate, and our future require nothing less.
