                        I'm running into this same issue myself and I've been wondering how Sunsama needs to evolve now that short sprints of background async work seem to be a core part of our workdays. Until we come up with something, I wanted to share what I do.
                        <br/>

                        My current approach is something like this: I start a timer working on my "big meaty important" task. Usually, this means my coding agent, Claude, is off working on it pinging me every several minutes about progress and findings as we work through it together. During stretches where it's off working, I'll look at the rest of my list and pick off "easy" things I can do that don't break my focus much more than checking Twitter or something else. Swapping focus like this is not ideal but sitting around for 5 - 17 minutes at a time is probably worse, for me at least. The most obvious change is that I'll just chip away at my inboxes and notifications while my agent is working.

                        I also sometimes start the day by kicking off several smaller things in parallel e.g. bug fixes. In this case, I'll make a single Sunsama task with each of those as subtasks and keep the timer running on that parent task without worrying about the exact allocation between bugs.

                        I sort of use the timer as my indicator as a way of reminding myself which task gets precedence so I don't accidentally go down a rabbit hole because of some email or other small task on my list. Hope that helps!
