Going from a looser routine to a rigid schedule, take-home work, and higher stakes all contribute. This might be in addition to

Screens can seem like a refuge when the feelings are too uncomfortable. And even if we're excited, we might spend more time on screens looking at classroom-decor Pinterest boards for inspiration, and students might be texting to

                   No matter your current state of mind, it's always a great time to take a step back and assess if our tech use is truly serving us. As educators (and, perhaps, parents or caregivers) who want to

                   , a solid place to start is being fully present when we pick up a device so we can be real with ourselves about the
