         Safeguard Birthright Citizenship:
        </strong>
        When President Trump attempted to take away the constitutional right of birthright citizenship for children born on U.S. soil,

         the ACLU and our partners took him to court and won,
        </strong>
        striking down his executive order and upholding the rights of citizens that are plainly stated in the Constitution.
       </li>
       <li>
        <strong>
         Protect Medical Privacy for Trans People &amp; Their Families:
        </strong>
        The Department of Justice is demanding that hospitals in New York City turn over private medical records of trans youth – so we're suing on behalf of their families. On June 24, we won a temporary restraining order blocking the disclosure of plaintiffs' and class members' medical information, and we'll keep fighting to uphold the constitutional rights of transgender young people and their families.
       </li>

        <strong>
         Defend Voting Rights:
        </strong>
        In states from Tennessee to Louisiana, the ACLU is mobilizing voters and taking state governments to court to ensure that wherever anti-voter politicians are working to silence Black voters and enact discriminatory district maps, there is someone fighting back.

        <strong>
         And so much more.
