                        Because of you, Earth Day wasn't just a day of celebration -- it was a much-needed moment of action. We hosted 1,200 outings, rallies, and other community events across the country to inspire people to protect our planet.
                        <br/>
                        <br/>
                        <b>
                         We even secured an enormous, last-minute win for wildlife:
                        </b>
                        HR 1897, a bill that would have drastically undermined the Endangered Species Act, was pulled before Congress could vote on it. The Sierra Club community showed up in force to oppose this bill, submitting letters to the editor and op-eds, sending over 11,000 messages to elected officials, and even traveled to Washington, D.C. to deliver messages in person to their members of Congress. This shows the incredible work we can accomplish when we stand up for what we believe in.

                        Our Earth Day celebration was capped off by Sierra Sessions, a concert spotlighting singers and songwriters with a passion for environmental stewardship. We invite you to watch these artists perform their songs, share the inspiration and stories behind their work, and offer their reflections on nature and life on Earth.

                         Earth Day was a reminder of the power we have together. Thank you for showing up for public lands, for the wildlife that depend on them, for the clean air and water that nourish us, and for the natural world we all cherish.

                        Your support is at the heart of everything we do at the Sierra Club. It goes far beyond just one day or one campaign. Your generous support is what strengthens our legal action, advocacy, and grassroots organizing.
